Had a good Sunday lunch. And was not expensive. Cant wait for the next one.
Really good food and atmosphere! The place has a new guy running it, and it looks like he's already doing a really good job! I'm pregnant and they really could not do enough to make sure I was happy, and got what I wanted and needed. I can't thank the team enough for being so kind especially after I've had a really tough week with some complications. Totally 5* and worth a visit! Looking forward to many more fun nights and quizzes!
Went for a meal on a Friday lunchtime. The place was busy with diners, but not packed. Service was prompt and friendly.The menu was extensive, there was a lot of choice available which had me concerned that it would be reheated frozen food, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this wasn't the case. I had their chicken sizzlers (fajitas) which was delicious and a huge portion, more than I could manage (4 tortillas).But I had room for desert and opted for their 'crumble of the day' which was supposed to be apple and rhubarb. Except they hadn't received delivery of the rhubarb that day, so we were asked if we wanted just apple crumble. The waitress returned almost immediately commenting that the chef had already prepared the crumble, so we know that it was freshly made. The crumble was perfect, proper traditional crumble with lashings of custard (in a jug on the side for us to pour as we wanted). I will definitely be returning there again.
Fell upon this lovely pub one sunday afternoon a couple of weeks back, me and my partner had the lamb shank Sunday roast and was delicious just how a Sunday roast should be. Great experience from the staff and great food to match! We will definitely be back soon.
Visited here many times and we have never been disappointed. The foods always sensational, a great selection of drinks (My ripples gin) and the staff are great too. We always feel welcome. It must be a great place for us to travel over 14 miles each way.
