So Friday evening 19.30 asked for Scampi - didn't have any. Asked for chicken and mushroom pie - didn't have any. So, got a mince beef and onion pie with chips. The chips where that dry I struggled to swallow them and the pie was yuk yuk, been kept warm for ages. Never had a problem before but tonight was disgusting.
Went on Friday evening. Mostly things were very good, but 2 items were missing when we got our supper home.
Fantastic tasty fish and chips. Family owned business worth a visit, if you love fish and chips as a traditional British takeaway meal.
Staff are helpful, food is nice and fresh and at a reasonable price
It's so hit and miss which is really frustrating. Sometimes it's actually half decent and other times, like the last time I went, the fish was very bland to the point I didn't think it was fresh and I actually threw up that night! I will try it again as it's my local, but it really could do better. The staff are a bit ignorant as well.
